📖 Commentary of Verse 48 (Surah Al-Qari'ah)

"And certainly it is a reminder [55] for those who are pious."

✅ [55] The Qur'an as a Reminder for the Pious

This verse indicates that the Qur'an serves as a reminder for the pious, guiding those who are already inclined toward faith and righteousness. The pious are those who seek to strengthen their relationship with Allah, and the Qur'an is a source of guidance and reminder to help them stay on the right path.

It is clarified that the Qur'an was not a guide for the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) because he was already a fully instructed guide before the revelation of the Qur'an. He was spiritually guided and knowledgeable even prior to receiving the Qur'an. The Qur'an was primarily sent to guide others, particularly those who accept Islam, leading them to practice and live by its teachings.

Alternatively, this verse also highlights that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) provides guidance towards faith, while the Qur'an helps guide people in practical application of Islam after they have accepted the faith, specifically through the recitation of the Kalima.
