Transliteration:( Wa maa huwa biqawli shaa'ir; qaleelan maa tu'minoon )
"And it is not at all the word of a poet. Little is it that you believe [47]."
This verse refutes the claim made by some of the disbelievers who accused the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) of being a poet and the Qur'an being mere poetry. The disbelievers were accustomed to poetry and decorated literature that followed specific meters and rhymes, but the Qur'an is not metrical, making it fundamentally different. The verse emphasizes that the Qur'an is not the work of a poet, and those who suggest so lack understanding and belief.
This verse serves as a clarification that the Qur'an is not poetry, and the Prophet is not a poet. The Qur'an is the divine revelation from Allah, transcending the limitations of worldly literature.

23. One meaning of “little it is that you believe”, according to Arabic idiom, can be: You do not believe it at all. Another meaning also can be: Hearing the Quran your heart sometimes itself cries out: This cannot be mortal word. Yet you behave stubbornly and refuse to believe in it.
