Quran-36:28 Surah Ya-sin English Translation,Transliteration and Tafsir(Tafseer).

۞وَمَآ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦ مِن جُندٖ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا كُنَّا مُنزِلِينَ

Transliteration:( Wa maaa anzalnaa 'alaa qawmihee mim ba'dihee min jundim minas-samaaa'i wa maa kunnaa munzileen )

28. And We did not send against his people, after him, any army [41] from the heavens, nor do We ever need to send down any (army). (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

(28) And We did not send down upon his people after him any soldiers from the heaven, nor would We have done so. (Saheen International Translation)

41. This means that after the martyrdom of Habeeb, angels were not sent to destroy the people of Intakia like on the occasion of the Battle of Badr. They were destroyed by the loud shriek of Hazrat Jibraeel. During the Battle of Badr, the angels had not come to destroy the infidels, but to give respect and encouragement to the believers.
