📖 Commentary of Surah Yaseen – Verse 28

"And We did not send against his people, after him, any army [41] from the heavens, nor do We ever need to send down any (army)."

✅ [41] Swift and Effortless Divine Punishment

After the martyrdom of Habeeb ibn Najjaar, Allah did not find it necessary to send angelic armies to punish the people of Antakiyah, as had been done on occasions like the Battle of Badr. In that instance, angels descended to support the believers, not to directly destroy the disbelievers.

In this case, their destruction was caused by a single, mighty shriek—a blast from Hazrat Jibraeel (AS)—which wiped them out entirely. This verse highlights the ease with which Allah enforces justice. He does not require elaborate forces to deal with oppressors; even the slightest command or element from His creation is enough to bring about complete ruin.

It demonstrates that Allah's power is absolute, and His punishment, when it comes, is both swift and decisive.
