Transliteration:( Maa yanzuroona illaa saihatanw waahidatan ta'khuzuhum wa hum yakhissimoon )
"They do not wait. But only a blast [74] will seize them when they will be huss in disputes [75]." (Kanzul Imaan Translation)
This refers to the first blowing of the trumpet by Sayyiduna Israfeel (عليه السلام), through which all life will come to an end. It will strike suddenly and decisively, leaving no chance for repentance or preparation.
At that moment, people will be engaged in their worldly affairs—trading, eating, drinking, and arguing over daily matters—completely heedless of the Hereafter.
This verse is a stern reminder of the abruptness of the Day of Destruction and the fragility of worldly life, urging mankind to stay mindful of their ultimate return to Allah.
