Transliteration:( Allazeena yuqeemoonas Salaata wa mimmaa razaqnaahum yunfiqoon )
"They establish Salah (prayer) and spend from what We have provided them [8]."
This verse encapsulates two core qualities of true believers: devotion in prayer and generosity in spending.
The phrase "They establish Salah" implies that prayer should be:
Performed regularly and on time
Fulfilled correctly, with sincerity and devotion
Inclusive of all obligatory (Fard) and necessary (Wajib) prayers
This also reflects that Salah must be offered with love, not as a burden, and is a central expression of obedience to Allah.
The phrase "spend from what We have provided them" carries multiple layers of meaning:
Believers must spend from lawfully earned wealth
Give in charity, support dependents, and contribute to all noble causes
Not limit spending to Zakaat, but extend to voluntary giving
Spend regularly, not just once, but as a continuous act of gratitude and trust in Allah’s provision
This balanced lifestyle—devout worship and mindful generosity—is a hallmark of the true faithful. The verse encourages believers to use their wealth in a holistic, righteous, and consistent manner.
