Transliteration:( Yawma hum baarizoona laa yakhfaa 'alal laahi minhum shai; limanil mulkul Yawma lillaahil Waahidil Qahaar )
"[41]. The Day when they will fully come forth. [42]. Nothing concerning them shall remain hidden from Allah. (43.) Whose is the Kingdom today? Of Allah, the One, the All-Dominant."
This refers to the Day of Judgment, when all of creation will be brought forth from their graves and will appear fully, without anything concealed. It will be a complete resurrection—no soul will be left behind, and everyone will rise for accountability.
There will be no shelter or escape, and people will be in a state of complete exposure, facing the reality of their deeds and the consequences of their choices.
On that day, nothing about anyone will remain hidden from Allah—neither actions, intentions, thoughts, nor secrets. Every individual will be known for what they did and who they were, regardless of how well they concealed things in the world.
Allah’s perfect knowledge will surround everyone, and His justice will prevail without the slightest error. The verse highlights Allah’s complete awareness of all creation, both in life and in the Hereafter.
On that day, it will be announced:
“Whose is the Kingdom today?” And the answer will echo:
“Of Allah, the One, the All-Dominant.”
All worldly rulers, powers, and empires will have vanished, and only the absolute dominion of Allah will remain. He is Al-Waahid (the One)—no partners or equals—and Al-Qahhaar (the All-Dominant)—none can challenge or oppose Him.
This verse serves as a powerful reminder of Allah’s ultimate authority, and that all false claims of power will be exposed on the Day of Final Judgment.

Please refer to Surah Muminun ayat 15 which provides the complete commentary from verse 15 through 17.
(40:16) the Day when they will emerge and nothing of them shall be hidden from Allah. (On that Day they will be asked): “Whose is the kingdom today?”[27] (The whole world will cry out): “It is Allah’s, the One, the Overpowering.”
27. That is, though in the world many vain and selfconceited people publicly proclaimed to be the kings and sovereigns, whose, in fact, is the Kingdom today? Who is the Owner of the powers and authority and Whose is the command? If a person hears these words in his right senses, he will be filled with terror, no matter how mighty a king or dictator he might be posing himself to be, and will immediately come to his senses. Here the mention of an historical event will not be out of place. When the Samanid ruler, Nasr bin Ahmad (301-331 A.H.), entered Nishapur, he held a court and after ascending the throne desired that the proceedings be started with recitation from the Quran. At this an elderly pious man came forward and recited this very section of this Surah. When he came to this verse, Nasr was struck with awe; he descended the throne trembling, took off the crown and fell down in prostration, saying: O my Lord, Kingdom is Thine, not mine!
