Transliteration:( Rabbanaa wa adkhilhum Jannaati 'adninil latee wa'attahum wa man salaha min aabaaa'ihim wa azwaajihim wa zurriyyaatihim; innaka Antal 'Azeezul Hakeem )
"O our Lord, admit them into eternal Paradise, which You have promised them, as well as those who are righteous to their parents and wives and children [23]. Indeed, You are the Most Honourable, the Wise [24]."
This verse highlights a divine reward of eternal reunion. The believers who enter Paradise will not be alone—they will be joined by their righteous family members, including their wives, parents, and children.
This shows the mercy of Allah, who not only rewards individuals but also grants eternal togetherness to those who lived in faith and righteousness. It is a source of immense comfort, knowing that pious families will be united in Jannah, experiencing eternal joy together.
Several profound lessons emerge from this verse and its context:
When Allah wishes to bless someone, He instructs His beloved servants, including angels, to pray for them. As the Qur'an says: “And pray for them” (Surah At-Tawbah, 9:103). This illustrates how divine blessings often come through the prayers of the righteous.
If Allah had willed to give directly without any intermediaries, He would not have instructed His pious servants to intercede. Yet, He chooses to involve them, showing that the prayers of the beloved carry weight in the court of Allah.
The verse, “And when they do injustice to their souls… O Beloved! They should come to you and seek Allah’s forgiveness” (Surah An-Nisa, 4:64), emphasizes that the Holy Prophet ﷺ is the highest means of intercession for all creation.
The angels' prayers are not random or generic—they are offered so that their Master, the Beloved Prophet ﷺ, may be pleased. The love and honour they show to believers is tied to their deep reverence for the Great Intercessor, the one resting beneath the Green Dome and in the Golden Chamber of Madinah.
In return, we too should make it our duty to pray for the Sahabah (Companions), the noble Ahlul Bayt (progeny of the Prophet ﷺ), and the residents of Madinah. We should speak of them with love and honour, for this earns us the pleasure of the Prophet ﷺ.
This practice—honouring the pious in gatherings, discussions, and events such as Urs—is not just cultural, but deeply spiritual, aimed at strengthening our connection to those beloved by Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.

(40:8) Our Lord, admit them to the everlasting Gardens You have promised them[10] and those of their fathers and spouses and progeny that were righteous.[11] Surely You alone are Most Mighty, Most Wise;
10. Here again there is the same state of solicitude as referred to in E.Ns above. Obviously, forgiving and saving from Hell by itself amounts to admitting to Paradise. And then soliciting Allah for granting the believers the same Paradise which He Himself has promised them, seems to be unnecessary, but the angels are so earnest in their desire of well-being for the believers that they go on repeating their good wishes for them although they know that Allah will certainly bless them with these favors in the Hereafter.
11. That is. join with them their parents and their wives and children for the comfort of their eyes. This same thing Allah Himself has stated as among the blessings which the believers will be granted in Paradise. For this see (Surah Ar-Raad, Ayat 23) and (Surah At-Toor, Ayat 21). In the verse of Surah At-Toor, there is also the explanation that if a person will deserve a higher rank in Paradise, which his parents will not deserve, he will not be lowered in rank to be joined with them but Allah will raise them to join him in the higher station.
