Transliteration:( Wa yaa qawmi inneee akhaafu 'alaikum yawmat tanaad )
"And O my people! I fear for you the day [84] of calling and crying."
This refers to the Day of Judgement, when the angels will call out, either summoning all people for accountability or announcing the finality of all life. One famous call will be: “Death has been slaughtered today—now the people of Paradise will remain in Paradise, and the people of Hell will remain in Hell forever.”
The phrase captures the terror and helplessness of that day—a day filled with cries, regrets, and separation, where no repentance will be accepted and no escape will be found.
This verse continues the serious warning of the believing man in Pharaoh’s court, who tried to awaken his people to the consequences of rejecting the truth.
