Quran-40:84 Surah Ghafir English Translation,Transliteration and Tafsir(Tafseer).

فَلَمَّا رَأَوۡاْ بَأۡسَنَا قَالُوٓاْ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَحۡدَهُۥ وَكَفَرۡنَا بِمَا كُنَّا بِهِۦ مُشۡرِكِينَ

Transliteration:( Falammaa ra aw baasanaa qaalooo aamannaa billaahi wahdahoo wa kafarnaa bimaa kunnaa bihee mushrikeen )

84.But when they saw Our punishment, they said: "We believe (213) in only One Allah and we deny all that we used to associate with Him".

213. This means now they had accepted faith after seeing Divine punishment. This is not faith in the unseen, which is absolutely necessary.

The tafsir of Surah Muminun verse 84 by Ibn Kathir is unavailable here.

(40:84) When they saw Our chastisement, they said: “We have come to believe in Allah, the Only One, and we reject all what we had associated (with Allah in His Divinity).”
