📖 Commentary of Surah Al-Hajj – Verse 50

"Then those who believed and did good works, for them is forgiveness and an honourable [110] provision."

✅ [110] Reward for Belief and Righteous Action

  • This verse highlights the positive outcome for those who respond to the Prophet's warning with faith and good deeds.

  • They are promised two immense rewards:

    1. Forgiveness – meaning their past sins will be wiped clean by Allah’s mercy.

    2. An honourable provision – referring to both worldly respect and eternal rewards in the Hereafter.

This honourable provision includes:

  • Guidance to righteous deeds

  • Being honoured and respected by others

  • Admittance to Paradise

  • The ultimate reward: seeing Allah Almighty

  • Intercession (Shafa’ah) of the Prophet ﷺ

This verse affirms that faith must be accompanied by action, and in return, Allah grants not only mercy but also great honour and eternal reward.
