Transliteration:( Wa aatainaahu fid dunyaa hasanah; wa innahoo fil Aakhirati laminas saaliheen )
122. And We gave him good in the world [271]. And verily, in the hereafter, he is among the righteous [272].
[271] Allah Almighty granted Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) abundant blessings in this world. These include prophethood, vast wealth, a position of honor revered across major religions, a long life, and pious offspring. He was guided to worship Allah alone. Many commemorations related to Ibrahim have been preserved in Makkah, and from his lineage came the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). For example, the recitation of Durood Ibrahim is an obligatory part of Muslim prayer (Salah). It is also narrated that Ibrahim had five thousand dogs guarding his livestock, each wearing collars of gold, highlighting his immense status and wealth.
Moreover, Ibrahim is venerated not only by Muslims but also deeply respected by Christians and Jews. Even in Hindu tradition, he is honored as Krishna, reflecting his universal reverence.
[272] In the Hereafter, after the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) holds the highest rank among the righteous. He is described as the first to be clothed upon resurrection, while others rise naked. Among the inhabitants of Paradise, he will be distinguished by his beard, and all others will hold him in the utmost respect and honor.
