Quran-16:52 Surah An-nahl English Translation,Transliteration and Tafsir(Tafseer).

Transliteration:( Wa lahoo maa fis samaawaati wal ardi wa lahud deenu waasibaa; afaghairal laahi tattaqoon )

52. And whatever is in the heavens and in the earth (107) belongs to Allah, and His obedience is incumbent (108). Will you then fear anyone else other than Allah?

Surah An-Nahl Ayat 52 Tafsir (Commentry)

  • Tafseer-e-Naeemi (Ahmad Yaar Khan)
  • Ibn Kathir
  • Ala-Madudi

107. The entire creation and possessions in reality all belong to Allah Almighty. However, the ownership of some possessions is due to Divine endowment and is temporary and metaphorical. On the other hand he who becomes the beloved of Allah Almighty, the world becomes his.

108. This means there is no decline to His Religion and obedience. He is eternal and absolute in this world and the Hereafter. The other religions are immediately forgotten by man at death. There will be no obedience to anyone of these in the Hereafter, besides obedience to Allah Almighty.

Ibn-Kathir

The tafsir of Surah An-Nahl verse 52 by Ibn Kathir is unavailable here.
Please refer to Surah Nahl ayat 51 which provides the complete commentary from verse 51 through 55.

(16:52) His is whatever is in the heavens and the earth, and obedience to Him inevitably pervades the whole universe.[44] Will you, then, hold in awe any other than Allah?[45]

44. In other words it means that the entire system of the universe exists on its obedience to Him.

45. That is, when it is so, will you then make the fear of any other than God the basis of the system of your life?
