Transliteration:( Wa Huwal laahu laaa ilaaha illaa Huwa lahul hamdu fil oolaa wal Aakhirati wa lahul hukmu wa ilaihi turja'oon )
"And He is Allah; there is no deity except Him. To Him belongs all praise in this world and the Hereafter [171]. His is the command [172], and to Him you will be returned [173]."
This verse affirms the Oneness of Allah and declares that all praise belongs to Him:
In the world, His praise is sung by the Prophets, saints (Awliya), and the scholars (‘Ulama) who recognize His majesty.
In the Hereafter, every single creation—willingly or unwillingly—will glorify Him and affirm His greatness.
This shows that His praise is timeless and universal, existing across both realms of existence.
The statement "His is the command" refers to His sovereignty over all matters:
Whether in matters of creation, forgiveness of the pious, or the acceptance of intercession by the righteous on behalf of sinners.
Every decision, law, and judgment ultimately rests with Allah alone, without opposition or partner.
All will return to Him—this return will occur in two distinct ways:
The pious will return to Allah joyfully, eager to meet their Lord and receive His reward.
The sinners and disbelievers will be dragged unwillingly, having no escape from His grasp.
Fortunate is the one who, even in this world, voluntarily and joyfully turns to Allah, for such a person’s return in the Hereafter will be one of honor and delight.
