    لَهُمۡ فِيهَا زَفِيرٞ وَهُمۡ فِيهَا لَا يَسۡمَعُونَ

    Transliteration:( Lahum feehaa zafeerunw wa hum feehaa laa yasma'oon )

    100. They will groan therein and they will hear nothing in it [156]. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

    156. This means that they will not be able to hear the screams of one another due to either the noise of Hell or their own frightening voices. Or that every infidel would be locked in a box of fire, as a result of which he will not be able to hear the voice of another.

    96. The Arabic word zafeer means hard breathing because of excessive heat, hard work and weariness.
