    📖 Commentary of Surah Al-Anbiya – Verse 100

    "They will groan therein and they will hear nothing in it [156]."

    ✅ [156] Isolation and Torment in Hell

    This means they will not be able to hear the screams of one another, either due to the roaring noise of Hell or their own frightening voices.

    Or, it may be that every disbeliever will be locked in a box of fire, because of which he will not hear anyone else’s voice.

    96. The Arabic word zafeer means hard breathing because of excessive heat, hard work and weariness.

    (100) For them therein is heavy sighing, and they therein will not hear.
