📖 Commentary of Surah Al-Anbiya – Verse 112

"The Prophet submitted, 'O my Lord; decide with truth [172]. And the assistance of my Lord the Most Affectionate is needed against what you utter.'"

✅ [172] The Prophet’s Supplication and Trust in Divine Justice

The Holy Prophet ﷺ, in response to the persistent denials and mockery of the disbelievers, supplicated for a just decision from Allah:
"O my Lord, decide with truth."

This reflects his complete reliance on Divine justice, and his detachment from personal vengeance.

He then declares:
"The assistance of my Lord, the Most Affectionate, is needed against what you utter."
This shows his trust in Allah’s mercy, while enduring the harsh words and accusations of the disbelievers.
