    وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا نُوحِيٓ إِلَيۡهِ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۠ فَٱعۡبُدُونِ

    Transliteration:( Wa maaa arsalnaa min qablika mir Rasoolin illaa nooheee ilaihi annahoo laaa ilaaha illaaa Ana fa'budoon )

    25. And We send not any Messenger before you but We revealed [37] to him that there is no god but I; therefore worship Me alone [38]. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

    (25) And We sent not before you any messenger except We revealed to him that, "There is no deity except Me, so worship Me." (Saheen International Translation)

    📖 Commentary of Surah Al-Anbiya – Verse 25

    "And We send not any Messenger before you but We revealed [37] to him that there is no god but I; therefore worship Me alone [38]."

    ✅ [37] Revelation Is Essential for Prophethood

    This verse confirms that every Prophet received revelation.
    Revelation (Wahi) is a necessary and defining element of prophethood.
    Here, “Messenger” refers broadly to all Prophets, as the two terms sometimes overlap in meaning.

    ✅ [38] Unity in Belief, Diversity in Law

    The verse makes clear that all Prophets were united in creed—each one conveyed the message of Tawheed (Oneness of Allah).
    While rituals and practices differed among Prophets, their core belief in monotheism never changed.

    This also clarifies that polytheism was never allowed in any divine message.
    Therefore, practices like prostration of respect, which occurred in earlier Prophetic eras (such as in the story of Yusuf), were not considered acts of shirk, because they were permitted forms of respect at the time, not worship.
