Transliteration:( Laa yasbiqoonahoo bil qawli wa hum bi amrihee ya'maloon )
"They precede Him not in word, and they act only by His Command [40]."
This verse affirms the absolute obedience of the angels.
They do not speak before Allah does, nor do they act except under His command.
It proves that angels are sinless (‘ma‘soom’) and cannot disobey.
As confirmed in another verse:
"They do not disobey the Commands of Allah and do as they are commanded." (Surah At-Tahrim 66:6)
They carry out their tasks with complete submission, showing that they are perfectly loyal servants—not divine beings, but honoured and obedient creations.
