📖 Commentary of Surah Al-Baqarah – Verse 60

"Some of them said, 'We have heard a youth called Ibrahim [92], saying bad to them'."

✅ [92] Reaction of Namrood’s People

When the news of this incident reached Namrood and his people, they said these words.

They had heard that a young man named Ibrahim was openly criticizing their idols and speaking against their worship. This indicates that Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) was already known for his opposition to idol worship, and his bold speech had become a topic of discussion among the people.
