Transliteration:( Wa zukhrufaa; wa in kullu zaalika lammaa mataa'ul hayaatid dunyaa; wal aakhiratu 'inda Rabbika lilmuttaqeen (section 3) )
"And various adornments [58] of gold. But all this is the provision of the present life [59]. And the Hereafter with your Lord is for the God-fearing [60]."
This verse refers to golden ornaments and other forms of luxury, emphasizing that such glitter and shine are insignificant in the sight of Allah. In fact, their worth is said to be less than the wing of a mosquito. When such wealth is granted to disbelievers, it serves as a form of punishment, making them negligent and sinful due to arrogance and heedlessness.
Gold, silver, and all material luxuries are nothing but fleeting provisions—confined to the short life of this world. They neither last nor benefit a person in the Hereafter.
The Hereafter, which is far more valuable, is reserved for those who fear Allah. This includes the truly righteous, as well as those connected to them—such as children of believers or even sinners who receive forgiveness through the intercession of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. Thus, true success lies not in worldly riches, but in piety and divine mercy.
