Transliteration:( Fa immaa nazhabanna bika fa innaa minhum muntaqimoon )
"And whether We take you away [71], We shall certainly take retribution [72] from them."
The phrase “take you away” refers to the passing of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, yet it affirms that his life continues, though out of our physical sight. Just as the sun disappears at sunset yet still shines elsewhere, the Prophet remains alive in a realm beyond our perception. This supports the Islamic understanding that Prophets remain alive in their graves, honored and sustained by Allah.
Whether the disbelievers face punishment during the Prophet’s lifetime or after his passing, Allah’s promise of justice and retribution is guaranteed. In fact, following the Prophet’s demise, Allah fulfilled His word—many of the disbelievers faced defeat, and under the leadership of the Rightly Guided Caliphs, Islam experienced great victories, showing the certainty of Divine retribution in both this world and the Hereafter.
