Transliteration:( Fastamsik billazeee oohiya ilaika innaka 'alaa Siraatin Mustaqeem )
"So, you hold fast to that which has been revealed [74] to you. Indeed, you are on the Straight Path. [75]"
This command instructs the Prophet ﷺ—and by extension, the believers—to firmly uphold the revelation that has been granted. This includes both the outer revelation (the Qur’an) and the inner revelation (the Hadith Shareef), which explains and complements the Qur’anic message. The order is directed to all Muslims: to practice the religion as shown by the Prophet, through both scripture and Sunnah.
This verse confirms that the Prophet ﷺ is himself upon the Straight Path, and anyone who seeks guidance through him will also find the path of Islam. The Qur’an says elsewhere:
"Undoubtedly, my Lord has shown me the straight path" (Surah Al-An’am, 6:161).
Thus, the path to salvation lies in following the teachings of the Prophet, who has been divinely guided in both knowledge and action.
The tafsir of Surah Zukhruf verse 43 by Ibn Kathir is unavailable here.
Please refer to Surah Zukhruf ayat 36 which provides the complete commentary from verse 36 through 45.
(43:43) So hold fast to what has been revealed to you. Surely you are on the Straight Way.[38]
38. That is, you should not worry as to what punishment do those who are resisting and opposing the truth with injustice and dishonesty receive and when. Nor should you worry whether Islam flourishes during your lifetime or not. For you this satisfaction is quite enough that you are on the right path. Therefore, you should go on fulfilling your mission unconcerned about the results, and leave it to Allah whether He defeats falsehood in front of you or after you.
