Transliteration:( Am abramooo amran fainnaa mubrimoon )
"Have they devised any affair [138] in their opinion? Then We are devising [139] (a plan)."
This verse refers to the hidden schemes and conspiracies of the disbelievers who plotted day and night to harm the Holy Prophet ﷺ and sabotage the mission of Islam. The use of a rhetorical question exposes their arrogance — as if they believed their limited strategies could succeed against divine will. It serves as a reminder of the hostile environment faced by the Prophet ﷺ and his followers, especially in Mecca.
In reply, Allah declares His own plan, far superior and unfailing. His protection surrounds the Prophet ﷺ, and no deception or harm can overpower divine decree. A practical reflection of this is seen in the incident of Hijrah, where despite heavy plotting, Allah shielded His Prophet ﷺ. From this verse, we learn the value of trusting Allah’s plan over human fear, and the virtue of reciting this verse in times of danger, as it carries the blessing of divine protection.
