Transliteration:( Wa lai yanfa'akumul Yawma iz zalamtum annakum fil 'azaabi mushtarikoon )
"But it shall not profit you on that day as you committed cruelties [67] that you will be partners [68] in the punishment."
This verse makes it clear that on the Day of Judgment, the evil companionship that once influenced and deceived the disbelievers will offer no benefit. Unlike the righteous companions, whose company will be a source of intercession and reward, the wicked allies will only add to the torment. Their companionship in the world leads only to shared regret in the Hereafter.
The verse further explains that the disbelievers, their devils, and the leaders of misguidance will all be equal partners in punishment. This reflects the fairness of Divine Justice—all those who contributed to misguidance, whether by leading or following, will be held accountable together. The burden of sin is shared when misguidance is accepted knowingly and willingly.

(43:39) (He will then be told): “Today it will not benefit you the least that after your wrong-doing you and your satans now share the chastisement.”[35]
35. That is, in this there is no aspect of consolation for you that the one who misguided you is being punished, for you are also receiving the same punishment for accepting and following the deviation.
