76. This tells us that all the followers of the Holy Prophet are his people, and since the entire world is the followers of the Holy Prophetﷺ the entire world is from his people. Every Prophet understands the language of his people. In this way the Holy Prophet ﷺ understands all the languages because these are the languages of his people. Says Allah Almighty: "And We have sent each Messenger in the language of his en people" (S14:V4). The purpose of the verse is to show that the Holy QUR'AAN is the means of respect of the Holy Prophet and his followers. Whoever wants respect should serve the Holy QUR AAN.
77. Oh believers! Did you fulfil the right of the Holy QUR'AAN? This question will he asked on the Day of Judgement.

(43:44) Verily it is a great source of eminence for you and your people, and soon you will be called to account concerning that.[39]

Ala-Maududi

(43:44) Verily it is a great source of eminence for you and your people, and soon you will be called to account concerning that.[39]

39. That is, there can be no greater good fortune for a person than that Allah should choose him from among all men to become the recipient of His Book, and there can be no greater good fortune also for a nation than that Allah should raise His Prophet in it, apart from all other nations of the world, and should send down His Book in its tongue, and give it the opportunity to rise as the standard-bearer of divine message in the world. If the Quraish and the people of Arabia have no sense of this great honor, and spurn it, a time will come when they will be called upon to account for it.

(44) And indeed, it is a remembrance[1441] for you and your people, and you [all] are going to be questioned.

[1441]- i.e., an honor. Or "a reminder."
