Transliteration:( Falaw anna lanaa karratan fanakoona minal mu'mineen )
Then anyhow we might return again [106] so that we would have been Muslims [107].
In this verse, the people of Hell express a hopeless longing to be sent back to the world, hoping for a second chance. Their plea reflects intense regret and desperation, as they finally recognize the truth they had denied. But it is a wish made too late, as the time for deeds has passed.
They admit that if given another chance, they would be among the Muslims—those who submitted to Allah’s will. This confession shows that they now acknowledge the truth of Islam, but only after facing its consequences. The verse highlights the importance of acting upon guidance while it still matters.
