Transliteration:( Wa inna Rabbaka la Huwal 'Azeezur Raheem (section 1) )
"And indeed, your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful [11]."
This verse emphasizes two key attributes of Allah: Al-Aziz (The Mighty) and Ar-Raheem (The Merciful). Allah is All-Powerful, fully capable of enforcing His will, punishing the disbelievers, and protecting the believers.
At the same time, He is infinitely Merciful, granting respite, forgiveness, and opportunities for repentance even after repeated denial. This perfect balance between justice and mercy is a recurring theme in the Qur’an, showing that while punishment is deserved, mercy is always near for those who turn to Allah.
