Transliteration:( Qaala liman hawlahooo alaa tastami'oon )
"(Pharaoh) said to those around him, 'Do you not listen carefully?' [34]"
Pharaoh, unable to counter Prophet Musa’s (عليه السلام) clear and truthful response, turns to sarcasm and mockery. By asking his court, "Do you not listen carefully?", he attempts to ridicule Musa’s message and undermine its seriousness.
This was a tactic to distract his audience, maintain his authority, and portray Musa as delusional or irrelevant, despite the undeniable logic of his words. It reflects Pharaoh’s arrogance and insecurity in the face of divine truth.
