Transliteration:( Wa law nazzalnaahu 'alaa ba'dil a'jameen )
"And if We had sent it down to any of the non-Arabs [197]."
It should be remembered that Arabia refers to the region made up of five provinces: Hijaz, Iraq, Najd, Bahrain, and Yemen. All lands outside this region are called Ajam (non-Arab). This verse points out that had the Qur’an been revealed to a non-Arab, the disbelievers would have rejected it outright, using the speaker’s foreign identity as an excuse, despite the truth of the message.
