Transliteration:( Fa asqit 'alainaa kisafam minas samaaa'i in kunta minas saadiqeen )
Therefore, cause a piece of the sky to fall upon us if you are among the truthful. [187]
In arrogance, they challenged Shu‘ayb عليه السلام to bring down divine punishment, mocking his warnings.
This reflects extreme pride and denial, asking for proof not out of sincerity but out of rebellion.
