Transliteration:( Illam ra atahoo qaddarnaaa innahaa laminal ghaabireen (section 4) )
"Except his wife; We have decreed that she will be among those who remain behind. [70]"
1. Allah Almighty has granted the angels knowledge of fortune and misfortune.
They are aware of who will die upon belief and who will die upon disbelief. This shows that angels are informed of final outcomes by divine command.
2. Allah Almighty can be mentioned jointly with His servants in a plural form when referring to a shared divine action.
The angels said: “We have already decided,” indicating that this decision was from both Allah and His angels by His will and permission.
Thus, it is valid to say:
“Allah and His Messenger bestow favours,”
or
“Allah and His Messenger grant the bounties of this world and the Hereafter,”
— as long as one affirms that all power and authority ultimately belong to Allah.
