Transliteration:( Fa akhazat humus saihatu musbiheen )
Then the shriek seized them in the morning [95].
✅ [95] The Morning of Destruction
The punishment that struck the people of Thamud came as a mighty shriek (Sayhah) in the early morning. This piercing sound destroyed them instantly, showing the sudden and severe nature of Divine retribution.
Most Divine punishments in past nations occurred at dawn. This is a blessed time, and its misuse by disbelieving nations brought ruin.
The verse subtly alludes to the importance of Fajr and Tahajjud prayers, which are performed during these hours. These acts of worship are spiritual safeguards, and through them, Allah may avert calamities from the believing community.
