Transliteration:( Fasda' bimaa tu'maru wa a'rid anil mushrikeen )
Therefore, say openly what you have been commanded [105], and turn away from the polytheists.
✅ [105] Bold Declaration of the Divine Message
This verse commands the Holy Prophet ﷺ to proclaim the message of Islam openly and without fear.
Two key lessons emerge from this:
No Concealment in Religion
The Prophet ﷺ conveyed every revelation completely, without hiding or withholding any part of the message.
This is affirmed elsewhere in the Qur'an: “Communicate that which has been sent down to you” (Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:67).
Therefore, the accusation that the Prophet ﷺ concealed any command or truth is a grave falsehood and outright disbelief.
Faith Should Not Be Hidden
Believers are instructed not to falsely conceal their identity or feign piety. One’s appearance, behavior, and words should reflect the faith they hold.
The instruction to "turn away from the polytheists" does not imply abandoning them entirely but rather not fearing their opposition or altering the truth to appease them.
This verse marks a turning point in the prophetic mission, urging clear and courageous da'wah, regardless of opposition or hostility.
(15:94) (O Prophet), proclaim what you are commanded, and pay no heed to those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity.
There is no commentary by Abul Maududi available for this verse.
[687]- The implication is "Thereby you will distinguish or separate the disbelievers from the believers." [688]- Any who persist in association of others with Allāh.
