Transliteration:( Fawa Rabbika lanas'a lannahum ajma'een )
Then, by your Lord, We shall certainly question them all [104].
✅ [104] Divine Oath and Universal Accountability
In this verse, Allah takes an oath "by your Lord", referring directly to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, which is a powerful expression of the Prophet’s exalted status and closeness to Allah.
The use of this oath emphasizes the certainty and seriousness of what follows: “We shall certainly question them all.” This interrogation refers to a universal reckoning on the Day of Judgment, where:
Every individual will be asked about their beliefs and actions
The disbelievers will be questioned as a form of rebuke and humiliation
The believers may be questioned for the purpose of honor and reward, or to establish the truth
The questioning will not be to seek information—Allah already knows all things—but to establish justice and to expose truth versus falsehood before all creation.
This verse serves as a stern reminder of the coming Judgment, and a glorious affirmation of the beloved status of the Prophet ﷺ.
(15:92) By your Lord, We will question them all
