    "And if We had not kept you firm, it was near that you would have inclined towards them a little."

    ✅ [162] Divine Protection from Inclination

    This verse affirms that even a slight inclination toward the disbelievers’ demands never occurred—and would not have occurred, solely due to Allah’s special protection.

    • The wording "if We had not kept you firm" points to the Divine safeguarding of the Prophet ﷺ.

    • It implies that without such Divine firmness, even the noblest human being might have approached error slightly, but the Prophet ﷺ was preserved completely.
