📖 Commentary of Surah Bani Isra’il – Verse 81

"And say, 'The truth has come, and falsehood has vanished [177]. Indeed, falsehood was bound to vanish [178].'"

✅ [177] The Triumph of Truth over Falsehood

This means: with the advent of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, light appeared and darkness disappeared, Islam arrived and infidelity was removed;
The Holy Qur’an came and Shaitaan lost influence; goodness arrived and evil faded, guidance prevailed and heresy vanished.

But all of this occurred solely through the blessed presence of this glorious Groom (the Prophet ﷺ)—every beauty, every freshness, and every splendour is due to his auspicious existence. It is he who brought this transformation.

✅ [178] The Symbolic Victory at the Conquest of Makkah

On the day of the Conquest of Makkah, when the Holy Prophet ﷺ entered the sacred Ka'bah, a whip was in his blessed hand. He recited this verse, and as he pointed it towards each idol, the idols collapsed, even though they were fixed with iron and tin.

From this we learn that the Holy Prophet ﷺ himself is truth, and those connected to him are embodiments of truth, while those disconnected from him are embodiments of falsehood.

Any Salaah that is not linked to the Holy Prophet ﷺ—such a prayer is not valid. Likewise, if worldly affairs become associated with him, they are in accordance with truth.
