The summary of the Surah Saba:

 There were many objections raised by the disbelievers against the Prophet's message of Tawhid, the Hereafter, and his Prophethood in this Surah, mostly in the form of allegations, taunts, and mockery.

Lesson learned from Surah Saba:

  1. Allah's has knowledge of everything.  
  2. D'wÅ«d عليه السلام was blessed with the skill of being able to mould iron. It would miraculously soften for him.  
  3. Very few people are truly grateful to Allah's.  
  4. The people of Saba were blessed greatly by Allah's, but this changed dramatically when they were ungrateful.  
  5. Allah's is the only one who sustains us.  
  6. The Prophet ï·º sought no recompense from the people for fulfilling his duty of prophethood.

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

 

ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي لَهُۥ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَهُ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ ٱلۡخَبِيرُ

Transliteration:( Alhamdu lillaahil lazee lahoo maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ardi wa lahul hamdu fil aakhirah; wa Huwal Hakeemul Khabeer )
1.All praise is to Allah[1], to Whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth [2], and His is the praise in the Hereafter (3) And He is the Wise, the Aware (4).

يَعۡلَمُ مَا يَلِجُ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا يَخۡرُجُ مِنۡهَا وَمَا يَنزِلُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا يَعۡرُجُ فِيهَاۚ وَهُوَ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ٱلۡغَفُورُ

Transliteration:( Ya'lamu maa yaliju fil ardi wa maa yakhruju minhaa wa maa yanzilu minas samaaa'i wa maa ya'ruju feehaa; wa Huwar Raheemul Ghafoor )
2.He knows what goes[5] into the earth and what comes[6] from it, and what descends from the heaven and what ascends into it. And He is the Merciful, the Forgiving". (9)

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَا تَأۡتِينَا ٱلسَّاعَةُۖ قُلۡ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّي لَتَأۡتِيَنَّكُمۡ عَٰلِمِ ٱلۡغَيۡبِۖ لَا يَعۡزُبُ عَنۡهُ مِثۡقَالُ ذَرَّةٖ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَلَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَآ أَصۡغَرُ مِن ذَٰلِكَ وَلَآ أَكۡبَرُ إِلَّا فِي كِتَٰبٖ مُّبِينٖ

Transliteration:( Wa qaalal lazeena kafaroo laa taateenas Saa'ah; qul balaa wa Rabbee lataatiyannakum 'Aalimul Ghaib; laa ya'zubu 'anhu misqaalu zarratin fis samaawaati wa laa fil ardi wa laaa asgharu min zaalika wa laaa akbaru illaa fee kitaabim mubeen )
3.And the infidels said: "The Hour [10] will not come to us". Please declare: "Why not, by my Lord, it will no doubt come to you". He knows the unseen [11]. Not an atom's weight in the heavens and in the earth can escape (12) from Him, nor anything less than that or greater, but everything is in the Clear Book (13).

لِّيَجۡزِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُم مَّغۡفِرَةٞ وَرِزۡقٞ كَرِيمٞ

Transliteration:( Liyajziyal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaat; ulaaa'ika lahum maghfiratunw wa rizqun kareem )
4. So that He may reward [14] those who believe and do good deeds. These are for whom there is and a honourable forgiveness provision [15].

وَٱلَّذِينَ سَعَوۡ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا مُعَٰجِزِينَ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ مِّن رِّجۡزٍ أَلِيمٞ

Transliteration:( Wallazeena sa'aw feee aayaatinaa mu'aajizeena ulaaa 'ika lahum 'azaabum mir rijzin aleem )
5.And those who try hard to defeat Our Signs[16], for them is the suffering of a painful punishment. [17]

وَيَرَى ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ هُوَ ٱلۡحَقَّ وَيَهۡدِيٓ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَمِيدِ

Transliteration:( Wa yaral lazeena ootul 'ilmal lazeee unzila ilaika mir Rabbika huwal haqqa wa yahdeee ilaaa siraatil 'Azeezil Hameed )
6. And those who have been given the knowledge [18] know [19] that what has been revealed (20) to you from your Lord is the truth and guides to the path of the Honourable, the Laudable (21).

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ هَلۡ نَدُلُّكُمۡ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٖ يُنَبِّئُكُمۡ إِذَا مُزِّقۡتُمۡ كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍ إِنَّكُمۡ لَفِي خَلۡقٖ جَدِيدٍ

Transliteration:( Wa qaalal lazeena kafaroo hal nadullukum 'alaa rajuliny yunabbi 'ukum izaa muzziqtum kulla mumazzaqin innakum lafee khalqin jadeed )
7.The infidels said: "Shall we point you a person [22] who will inform you that when being torn into pieces [23] you become small particles, you are then to be recreated (24)?"

أَفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَم بِهِۦ جِنَّةُۢۗ بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ وَٱلضَّلَٰلِ ٱلۡبَعِيدِ

Transliteration:( Aftaraa 'alal laahi kaziban am bihee jinnah; balil lazeena laa yu'minoona bil Aakhirati fil'azaabi wad dalaalil ba'eed )
8. Has he forged a lie against Allah or is he afflicted with madness [25] No, but those who do not believe in the Hereafter are in the punishment and gone too far in error [26].

أَفَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ إِلَىٰ مَا بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَهُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ إِن نَّشَأۡ نَخۡسِفۡ بِهِمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ أَوۡ نُسۡقِطۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡ كِسَفٗا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗ لِّكُلِّ عَبۡدٖ مُّنِيبٖ

Transliteration:( Afalam yaraw ilaa maa baina aydeehim wa maa khalfahum minas samaaa'i wal ard; in nashad nakhsif bihimul arda aw nusqit 'alaihim kisafam minas samaaa'; inna fee zaalika la Aayatal likulli 'abdim muneeb (section 1) )
9.Have they not seen what is before them and what is after them of the heavens and the earth [27]? If We will, We may cause them to sink [28] in the earth and cause a piece of the sky to fall upon them. Surely, in it is a sign for every repentant devotee.

۞وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا دَاوُۥدَ مِنَّا فَضۡلٗاۖ يَٰجِبَالُ أَوِّبِي مَعَهُۥ وَٱلطَّيۡرَۖ وَأَلَنَّا لَهُ ٱلۡحَدِيدَ

Transliteration:( Wa laqad aatainaa Daawooda minnaa fadlany yaa jibaalu awwibee ma'ahoo wattaira wa alannaa lahul hadeed )
10.And indeed. We gave to Dawood an excellent grace [30] from Us. O mountains! Turn towards Allah with him. O birds [31] Repeat Allah's Praise with him. And We made the iron soft for him. (32)
