The summary/theme of the surah Al-Muʼminun

The central theme of this surah is to accept and follow the Prophet (may peace be upon him). The true believers are assured that they will be among the successful. The surah begins with a description of a believing person's virtues and character.

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

 

قَدۡ أَفۡلَحَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
 Transliteration:( Qad aflahal mu'minoon )

1. Undoubtedly, the believers'(1) reached their goal.

6. But from their wives and from their lawful handmaids who are the property(6) of their hand for (in their case) they are not to be blamed.

7. Then who so desires anything more than these two, are the transgressors (7).
