The summary/theme of the Surah Ibrahim:

This surah is an admonition to the disbelievers who were dismissing the message of Muhammad and devising cunning plans to crush his mission. Be that as it may, notice that impugning, scolding, and rebuking overwhelm admonitions.

Lesson learned from Surah Ibrahim:

  1. If you are grateful and thank Allāh, He will increase you in favours; but if you are ungrateful, His punishment is severe.
  2. Shayṭān will dramatically turn his back on those who followed him on the Day of Judgement.
  3. Nothing can be hidden from the Knowledge of Allāh
  4. Never think of Allāh to be neglectful of the actions of the oppressors.
  5. Allāh never goes against His promise.
  6. Make it a point to say this du‘ā: O my Rabb! Make me one who establishes ṣalāh and from my progeny too [create those who establish ṣalāh], and accept this prayer of mine. O our Rabb! Forgive me, my parents and the Believers on the day the accounting is established.’[1] 14:40-41  If you try to count the blessings of Allāh, you will be unable to do so.
