    كَذَّبَتۡ قَوۡمُ نُوحٍ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

    105. The people of Nuh denied the Messengers [108].

    إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ أَخُوهُمۡ نُوحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

    106. When their brother Nuh said to them, 'Do you not fear [109]?'

    إِنِّي لَكُمۡ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٞ

    107. Indeed, I am a trustworthy Messenger for you [110].

    فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ

    108. Therefore, fear Allah and obey me [111].

    وَمَآ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ مِنۡ أَجۡرٍۖ إِنۡ أَجۡرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

    109. And I do not ask you for any reward for it; my reward is only from the Lord of the worlds [112].

    فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ

    110. Therefore fear Allah and obey me.

    ۞قَالُوٓاْ أَنُؤۡمِنُ لَكَ وَٱتَّبَعَكَ ٱلۡأَرۡذَلُونَ

    111. They said, "Shall we believe you while the lowly ones have followed you?" [113]

    قَالَ وَمَا عِلۡمِي بِمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ

    112. He said, "What knowledge do I have of what they were doing?" [114]

    إِنۡ حِسَابُهُمۡ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّيۖ لَوۡ تَشۡعُرُونَ

    وَمَآ أَنَا۠ بِطَارِدِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

    114. And I am not to drive away the believers [116].

    إِنۡ أَنَا۠ إِلَّا نَذِيرٞ مُّبِينٞ

    115.I am but a plain Warner.

    قَالُواْ لَئِن لَّمۡ تَنتَهِ يَٰنُوحُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمَرۡجُومِينَ

    116. They said, "O Nuh! If you do not desist, you will surely be among those who are stoned."

    قَالَ رَبِّ إِنَّ قَوۡمِي كَذَّبُونِ

    117. He said, "O my Lord, my people have belied me" [118].

    فَٱفۡتَحۡ بَيۡنِي وَبَيۡنَهُمۡ فَتۡحٗا وَنَجِّنِي وَمَن مَّعِيَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

    118. Therefore, decide completely between me and them, and save me and the believers with me [119].

    فَأَنجَيۡنَٰهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥ فِي ٱلۡفُلۡكِ ٱلۡمَشۡحُونِ

    119. Then we saved him and those with him [120] in the laden ark [121].

    ثُمَّ أَغۡرَقۡنَا بَعۡدُ ٱلۡبَاقِينَ

    120. Thereafter, We drowned the remaining ones [122].

    إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ
