9.The people of Nuh falsified before them. They declared Our devotee to be a liar and said: "He is a madman and he was driven (14) away."

10.He therefore prayed (15) to his Lord: "I have been overcome. You take revenge (16) for me."

11. Then We opened the gates of the sky with water (17) pouring down forcefully.

12. And We made the water of the springs (18) to flow on the earth, so two waters gathered (19) to such a quantity which was already ordered (20),

13.And We carried him (Nuh) on a thing of planks (21) and nails (fixed in oat).

14.Sailing before Our Eyes (22),a reward for him who was rejected (23).

15.And certainly We left it as a symbol (for the future). Is there anyone who would pay attention (24)?

16. Therefore, how great was My punishment, for which they had My warning.
