Transliteration:( Wa waqa'al qawlu 'alaihim bimaa zalamoo fahum laa yantiqoon )
"And the word has already fallen upon them because of their wrongs, so now they speak nothing [156]."
This tells us that there will come a moment on the Day of Judgement when the disbelievers will be unable to speak, struck silent due to the Divine Decree that has already been passed against them.
At other moments, they will be allowed to speak—as described in other verses—either to deny, argue, or confess. Thus, there is no contradiction, as the Day will consist of various stages, some allowing speech, others imposing complete silence as a form of disgrace.
