📖 Commentary of Surah An-Naml – Verse 9

"O Musa! Indeed, I am Allah, the Mighty, the Wise. [17]"

✅ [17] The Divine Introduction of Allah

This verse marks the moment when Allah directly introduces Himself to Prophet Musa (peace be upon him) with absolute clarity: “Indeed, I am Allah.” This declaration confirms the source of the call and leaves no doubt in Musa’s heart.

The two attributes mentioned—Al-‘Azeez (the Mighty) and Al-Hakeem (the Wise)—reflect both Allah’s supreme power and perfect wisdom. Allah is Mighty in that He is irresistible and above all, and Wise in that all His actions are purposeful, just, and full of wisdom. This introduction reassures Musa of the greatness and reliability of the One who is appointing him to a mission.
