Transliteration:( Fa anjainaahu wa ahlahooo illam ra atahoo qaddarnaahaa minal ghaabireen )

57. Then We delivered him and his family but his wife. We destroyed her that she is among those who stayed behind (110),

110. Because she was a friend of the infidels and held them dear to her. From this, we learn that the friendship of the infidels can bring about Divine punishment. Also, household members of the Prophet are in dire need of faith. It is insufficient to be just a household member without faith.

70. That is, “The Prophet Lot (peace be upon him) had already been instructed not to take the woman along because she had to be destroyed along with her people.”
