Transliteration:( Fa anjainaahu wa ahlahooo illam ra atahoo qaddarnaahaa minal ghaabireen )
"Then We saved him and his family, except for his wife; We destined her to be among those who stayed behind [110]."
Although she was the wife of a Prophet, she was excluded from salvation because of her disbelief and alignment with the sinful people. This shows that lineage or relation to the righteous does not guarantee protection—faith and obedience are the true criteria. Allah had already decreed her to be among those who would be destroyed, and thus she was left behind with the doomed nation.

(27:57) Eventually We saved (Lot) and his family, except his wife. We had decreed that she should be among those who would remain behind.[70]
70. That is, βThe Prophet Lot (peace be upon him) had already been instructed not to take the woman along because she had to be destroyed along with her people.β
