۞قُلۡ يَتَوَفَّىٰكُم مَّلَكُ ٱلۡمَوۡتِ ٱلَّذِي وُكِّلَ بِكُمۡ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمۡ تُرۡجَعُونَ

11.Please declare: "The angel (21) of death who has been appointed (22) over you causes you to die, then you shall be returned (23) to your Lord.

Surah Name : As-Sajdah   Surah Number : 32   Ayat Number: 11

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ لَيُسَمُّونَ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ تَسۡمِيَةَ ٱلۡأُنثَىٰ

27. Surely, then who do not believe in the Hereafter, name the angels with female (31) names.

Surah Name : An-Najm   Surah Number : 53   Ayat Number: 27

۞وَكَم مِّن مَّلَكٖ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ لَا تُغۡنِي شَفَٰعَتُهُمۡ شَيۡـًٔا إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ أَن يَأۡذَنَ ٱللَّهُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَرۡضَىٰٓ

26.And how many angels are there in the heavens, but their intercession avails nothing, but when Allah permits to whomsoever He Pleases and Chooses (30)

Surah Name : An-Najm   Surah Number : 53   Ayat Number: 26

تَعۡرُجُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ إِلَيۡهِ فِي يَوۡمٖ كَانَ مِقۡدَارُهُۥ خَمۡسِينَ أَلۡفَ سَنَةٖ

4. To Him ascend (4) the angels and Jibraeel(5) that chastisement will fall on a Day, the measure of which is fifty thousand years (6).

Surah Name : Al-Maaarij   Surah Number : 70   Ayat Number: 4

۞قَالَ فَمَا خَطۡبُكُمۡ أَيُّهَا ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ

31. He (Ebrahim) said: "What is your affair (32), O messengers?"(Angels)

Surah Name : Adh-Dhariyat   Surah Number : 51   Ayat Number: 31

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ قُوٓاْ أَنفُسَكُمۡ وَأَهۡلِيكُمۡ نَارٗا وَقُودُهَا ٱلنَّاسُ وَٱلۡحِجَارَةُ عَلَيۡهَا مَلَـٰٓئِكَةٌ غِلَاظٞ شِدَادٞ لَّا يَعۡصُونَ ٱللَّهَ مَآ أَمَرَهُمۡ وَيَفۡعَلُونَ مَا يُؤۡمَرُونَ

6. O believers! Save (22) yourselves and your families from the fire whose (23) fuel are men and stones. Over it are angels, stern and strong. They do not disobey (24) Allah in what le Commands them, and act as they are commanded (25).

Surah Name : At-Tahreem   Surah Number : 66   Ayat Number: 6

إِن تَتُوبَآ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ فَقَدۡ صَغَتۡ قُلُوبُكُمَاۖ وَإِن تَظَٰهَرَا عَلَيۡهِ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ مَوۡلَىٰهُ وَجِبۡرِيلُ وَصَٰلِحُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَۖ وَٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ بَعۡدَ ذَٰلِكَ ظَهِيرٌ

4. If both of you (two wives) repent (13) to Allah, your hearts are already deviated (14) from the path, but if you two force (15) him, then undoubtedly Allah is his helper, and Jibraeel and the righteous believers (16), and further more, the angels (17) are his helpers.

Surah Name : At-Tahreem   Surah Number : 66   Ayat Number: 4

ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَاعِلِ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ رُسُلًا أُوْلِيٓ أَجۡنِحَةٖ مَّثۡنَىٰ وَثُلَٰثَ وَرُبَٰعَۚ يَزِيدُ فِي ٱلۡخَلۡقِ مَا يَشَآءُۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٞ

1. All praise be to Allah, the Originator of the heavens and the earth, the Appointer of angels as message bearers, who have two, three or four wings. He increases in creation what He pleases Undoubtedly. Allah is Potent over everything.

Surah Name : Fatir   Surah Number : 35   Ayat Number: 1

وَيَوۡمَ يَحۡشُرُهُمۡ جَمِيعٗا ثُمَّ يَقُولُ لِلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ أَهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِيَّاكُمۡ كَانُواْ يَعۡبُدُونَ

40.And (remember) the day when He will gather them together. He will then say to the angels: "Did those men worship (120) you?"

Surah Name : Saba   Surah Number : 34   Ayat Number: 40

فَسَجَدَ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعُونَ

30. Then all the angels fell down in prostration together (38).

Surah Name : Al-Hijr   Surah Number : 15   Ayat Number: 30

وَإِذۡ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّي خَٰلِقُۢ بَشَرٗا مِّن صَلۡصَٰلٖ مِّنۡ حَمَإٖ مَّسۡنُونٖ

28. And recall when your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create human beings from the ringing clay which is of the black smelling mud!"(35).

Surah Name : Al-Hijr   Surah Number : 15   Ayat Number: 28

مَا نُنَزِّلُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُوٓاْ إِذٗا مُّنظَرِينَ

8. We do not send down the angels without any purpose and if they come down, they would not get time (11).

Surah Name : Al-Hijr   Surah Number : 15   Ayat Number: 8

لَّوۡ مَا تَأۡتِينَا بِٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ

7. Why don't you bring angels to us, if you are truthful' (10),

Surah Name : Al-Hijr   Surah Number : 15   Ayat Number: 7

وَٱلۡمَلَكُ عَلَىٰٓ أَرۡجَآئِهَاۚ وَيَحۡمِلُ عَرۡشَ رَبِّكَ فَوۡقَهُمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ ثَمَٰنِيَةٞ

17.And the angels shall be standing (18) on the sides thereof and above them shall be eight angels (19) carrying the Throne of your Lord, above them.

Surah Name : Al-Haqqah   Surah Number : 69   Ayat Number: 17

يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلرُّوحُ وَٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ صَفّٗاۖ لَّا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ إِلَّا مَنۡ أَذِنَ لَهُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ وَقَالَ صَوَابٗا

38.On that day when the Spirit (Jibraeel) and all angels will stand in rows (22), who will not be able to speak, except one whom the Most Affectionate permits, and who will peak only what is right (23).

Surah Name : An-Naba   Surah Number : 78   Ayat Number: 38

وَمَا جَعَلۡنَآ أَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلنَّارِ إِلَّا مَلَـٰٓئِكَةٗۖ وَمَا جَعَلۡنَا عِدَّتَهُمۡ إِلَّا فِتۡنَةٗ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِيَسۡتَيۡقِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَيَزۡدَادَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِيمَٰنٗا وَلَا يَرۡتَابَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ وَلِيَقُولَ ٱلَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٞ وَٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ مَاذَآ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَٰذَا مَثَلٗاۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهۡدِي مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَمَا يَعۡلَمُ جُنُودَ رَبِّكَ إِلَّا هُوَۚ وَمَا هِيَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرَىٰ لِلۡبَشَرِ

31.And We have appointed angels (22), the wardens of the fire, and We have not fixed their numbers except as a trial for those who disbelieve (23), that those who have been given the Book (24) may become certain, and that the believers may increase in (25) faith. And those who have been given the Book as well, as all the believers may not be deceived (26). Those in whose hearts is a disease (27), and the infidels, may say: "What does Allah mean (28) by this example?" Thus does Allah let him err whom He Pleases, and He may guide (29) whom He Pleases. none knows (30) the forces of your Lord, but He Himself. And this is only a reminder to man.

Surah Name : Al-Muddaththir   Surah Number : 74   Ayat Number: 31

وَقَالَ قَرِينُهُۥ هَٰذَا مَا لَدَيَّ عَتِيدٌ

23. And his companion(39) (angel) will say: "This account is ready (40) with Me."

Surah Name : Qaf   Surah Number : 50   Ayat Number: 23

إِذۡ جَآءَتۡهُمُ ٱلرُّسُلُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَمِنۡ خَلۡفِهِمۡ أَلَّا تَعۡبُدُوٓاْ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَۖ قَالُواْ لَوۡ شَآءَ رَبُّنَا لَأَنزَلَ مَلَـٰٓئِكَةٗ فَإِنَّا بِمَآ أُرۡسِلۡتُم بِهِۦ كَٰفِرُونَ

14. Then their Messengers came to them from before them and behind them(35) saying: "Worship none except Allah". They said:(36) "Had our Lord wished so. He would have sent down angels (37). So we disbelieve in what you have (38)been sent with".

Surah Name : Fussilat   Surah Number : 41   Ayat Number: 14

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُواْ رَبُّنَا ٱللَّهُ ثُمَّ ٱسۡتَقَٰمُواْ تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ أَلَّا تَخَافُواْ وَلَا تَحۡزَنُواْ وَأَبۡشِرُواْ بِٱلۡجَنَّةِ ٱلَّتِي كُنتُمۡ تُوعَدُونَ

30.Undoubtedly, those who say: "Our Lord(79) is Allah, then remain firm(80) on it, the angels descend upon them saying(81): "Fear not, nor grieve (82) and be glad in Paradise. which you were promised ".(83)

Surah Name : Fussilat   Surah Number : 41   Ayat Number: 30

تَكَادُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ يَتَفَطَّرۡنَ مِن فَوۡقِهِنَّۚ وَٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّهِمۡ وَيَسۡتَغۡفِرُونَ لِمَن فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ أَلَآ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

5.It is near that the heavens may rend(5) from above it, but the angels glorify (6)their Lord with His Praise and beg(7) forgiveness for those on the earth. Behold, Allah is Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful.(8)
