Quran-12:85 Surah Surah-yusuf English Translation,Transliteration and Tafsir(Tafseer).

قَالُواْ تَٱللَّهِ تَفۡتَؤُاْ تَذۡكُرُ يُوسُفَ حَتَّىٰ تَكُونَ حَرَضًا أَوۡ تَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡهَٰلِكِينَ

Transliteration:( Qaaloo tallaahi tafta'u tazkuru Yoosufa hattaa takoona haradan aw takoona minal haalikeen )

85. They said, By God you shall ever continue to remember Yusuf until you approach grave or pass away with you life (181)

181. These words were spoken by his son and other relatives. They were not spoken to censure him in any way but to sympathise and comfort him in his sorrow.

 

Ibn-Kathir

85. They said, By Allah , you will not cease remembering Joseph until you become fatally ill or become of those who perish.

(12:85) The sons said: “By Allah! You will continue to remember Joseph until you will either consume yourself with grief, or will die.”
