Transliteration:( Qaala sawfa astaghfiru lakum Rabbeee innahoo Huwal Ghafoorur Raheem )
He said, "Soon I will ask my Lord to forgive you. Indeed, He is the Forgiving, the Merciful [206]."
Hazrat Yaqub (علیہ السلام) did not immediately pray for his sons’ forgiveness. One reason mentioned is that his heart was not yet fully inclined towards expecting acceptance at that moment. He may have been awaiting a spiritually opportune time, such as the dawn, or perhaps wanted to meet Hazrat Yusuf (علیہ السلام) first, after which his supplication would be filled with deep gratitude and sincerity.
From this, we learn that du’a (supplication) made during the early morning holds special value and has a greater chance of being accepted. This also teaches us the importance of timing and emotional presence in seeking Allah's forgiveness.
