    45. Then the unjust [89] were completely uprooted. And all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds [90].

    وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ رُسُلًا إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِمۡ فَجَآءُوهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ فَٱنتَقَمۡنَا مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَجۡرَمُواْۖ وَكَانَ حَقًّا عَلَيۡنَا نَصۡرُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

    47. And certainly We sent [105] so many Messengers before you towards their people, and they brought them open signs [106]. Then We took vengeance from the culprits. And it is Our right to help (107) the believers.

    وَلَقَدۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا ٱلۡقُرُونَ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ لَمَّا ظَلَمُواْ وَجَآءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ وَمَا كَانُواْ لِيُؤۡمِنُواْۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ

    13. Indeed, We destroyed the generations before you when they [40] wronged, and their messengers came to them with clear signs [41]. But they would not believe. Thus, We recompense the people who are criminals.

    ذَٰلِكَ مِنۡ أَنۢبَآءِ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ نَقُصُّهُۥ عَلَيۡكَۖ مِنۡهَا قَآئِمٞ وَحَصِيدٞ

    100. These are the narratives of the towns that We recount to you; some are standing and some have been harvested. [201]

    فَغَشَّىٰهَا مَا غَشَّىٰ

    54.Then covered them with what they were to be covered [65] (with).

    وَٱلۡمُؤۡتَفِكَةَ أَهۡوَىٰ

    53. And He overturned [64] the demolished cities.

    أَلَمۡ نُهۡلِكِ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

    16.Did We not destroy the former generations?

    17. So We shall cause the later [15] ones to follow them.

    كَذَٰلِكَ نَفۡعَلُ بِٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ

    18. Thus shall We deal with the culprits [16].

    وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ

    19. Woe on that day [17] to those who belied it (the truth).
