Transliteration:( Lillaahi mulkus samaawaati wal ardi wa maa feehinn; wa Huwa 'alaa kulli shai'inn Qadeer )
"To Allah belongs the kingdom [329] of the heavens and the earth and whatever is in them. And He has Power over everything [330]."
The word “kingdom” here refers to apparent ownership and control. While humans may hold temporary kingship, true sovereignty—including control over hidden realities—belongs to Allah alone. A human king may imprison or punish, but cannot give life, alter destinies, or change inner realities. Spiritual dominion is reserved only for Allah. Prophets and saints, as Allah’s deputies, may become the means through which divine power is manifested, but the source remains Allah.
The phrase “He has Power over everything” refers to all possible and logical realities. Things that are inherently impossible—such as lying by Allah, or creating a square circle—are not considered part of "everything" here. Believing that Allah could lie or contradict His perfection is misguided, as such acts contradict His Divine nature. Allah’s power is absolute, but within the scope of His wisdom and perfection.
