Quran Quote  : 

Quran-5:49 Surah Al-maidah English Translation,Transliteration and Tafsir(Tafseer).

Transliteration:( Wa anih kum bainahum bimaaa anzalal laahu wa laa tattabi' ahwaaa'ahum wahzarhum ai yaftinooka 'am ba'di maaa anzalal laahu ilaika fa in tawallaw fa'lam annamaa yureedul laahu ai yuseebahum biba'di zunoobihim; wa inna kaseeram minan naasi lafaasiqoon )

49. And (O Muslims) judge according to what Allah has sent (160), down, and follow not their desires and be on guard against them, lest they cause you to slip (161), from any command of Allah revealed to you. Then, if they turn their faces then know that Allah wishes to give them punishment (162), for some of their sins. And no doubt, many people are disobedient.

160. It should be remembered that the Holy QURAN, Hadith Shareef, and The consensus of Muslim opinion and opinion based on analogy are all included in "Whatever Allah Almighty has revealed." The Holy QURAN is a salient and clear revelation, and Hadith Shareef is a concealed revelation, to act upon the consensus of the Ummah has been commanded by the Holy QURAN while opinion based on analogy is the way of communication of the Holy QURAN and Hadith Shareef.

161. From this, it is understood that no person should regard himself as safe from the deception of the infidels and the wiles of the devil. If the Holy Prophet  صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم was asked to exercise caution regarding this, then who are we. 

162. For anyone to adore things according to his whims and fancy which is contrary to the laws of Shariah is indeed a sign of Divine punishment for him Verse: "If thou desireth good fortune from any abode. Learn first to become a devotee of that abode"

And if they turn away, then know well that Allah has indeed decided to afflict them for some of their sins. For surely many of them are transgressors.
