Transliteration:( Inna haazaa lahuwal balaaa'ul mubeen )
"No doubt, it was a clear [112] test."
It should be remembered that Hazrat Ebrahim (peace be upon him) had already offered physical, monetary, and national (patriotic) sacrifices before this.
This was the sacrifice of his son, granted to him in old age after many heartfelt du’as in the court of Allah Almighty.
This son was the beauty of his home, raised in his lap, and the light of his eyes—yet it was this beloved son that he was ready to sacrifice purely out of obedience.
Indeed, this was the severest and clearest test placed upon him, and he emerged victorious in submission.

65. That is, the object was not to get your son slaughtered through you but to test you to see that you did not hold anything of the world dearer than Us.
